War of the Worlds book art. It's all about Tripods. Martian Tripods. This is one of my very earliest single papercuts. 

Please note that this is not a print; it is an original page torn from HG Wells' seminal sci-fi masterpiece War of the Worlds. It is in fact the opening page, chapter 4: The Cylinder Opens.

I have used a scalpel to cut out the silhouette of Spielberg's Martian Tripod Martian Tripod.

This beautiful and unique War of the Worlds artwork is 30 X 40 cm, and comes with the pictured champagne coloured mount. The background is high quality black mount board.
