1. "2+2=5"

Featuring the final page of 1984. I have cut out the silhouette of the terrifying Ministry of Love - with The Party's All-Seeing-Eye.

This is the page in which Winston finally discovers that he loves Big Brother...

2. "DoubleBlink3"

Featuring the opening page of 1984. I have cut out two pairs of eyes and the word "DoubleBlink" from the page.

This is a play on words referring to Orwell's concept of DoubleThink.

3. "I LOVE YOU 113"

Featuring page 113 in which Winston discovers Julia's love note; a note that changes the course of both their lives.

I have mirrored one of the key themes of the novel (censorship) by cutting out all letters. The only ones that remain are Julia's words to Winston "I LOVE YOU".

4. "A PLACE WITHOUT DARKNESS"

This is page 29 in which Winston tells us that the only place that is yours is the few cubic centimetres inside your own skull.

I have cut out one of my my favourite line: "We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness."

This place turns out to be Room 101...

I'm offering you one of my unique 1984 literature art prints for free because, like me, you share a passion for literature, for dystopian sci-fi, for the chance to escape to other worlds - if only for a short while.
