Pride and Prejudice Derbyshire Map in NAVY BLUE Framed & Mounted Print
This distinctive fine art features the last page of Jane Austen's 1813 classic Pride & Prejudice. I have dissected this page to reveal the outline of the UK county of Derbyshire - a theme running through Pride & Prejudice and mentioned in the last line of the book. I have also cut out letters from this page and used them in the order they were found on the page to create the opening line of the novel:
"It is a truth universally acknowledged that a man in possession of a good fortune must be in need of a wife."
