The Bell Jar// "Fig" Original Papercut
The Bell Jar// "Fig" Original Papercut
The Bell Jar original, hand cut, book artwork. A single edition 1 of 1. I have cut a halved fig fruit from 4 pages of Sylvia Plath's novel The Bell Jar. The fig represents the many life choices that Esther faces, and her inability to choose just one. To emphasise this, I have cut letters from the page to create Plath's line:
"I saw my life branching out before me like the green fig tree."
Signed single edition original.
Because this artwork is framed in a wooden frame, I will plant 50 trees when this artwork is purchased. See my growing forest HERE
