War of the Worlds// "Red Planet" Black on Black Laser Cut
War of the worlds A3 papercut artwork. Part of my Black [on] Black papercut collection. The Red Planet looms beneath the opening line of HG Wells' novel War of the Worlds. The opening line floats 5mm above the backfround with the aid of Strategically glued spacers. This results in a multi-dimensional artwork with life and depth. This is not a print. It is laser cut.
POSTING
The artwork must be framed for posting. This is due to the fragile nature of the artwork. There is a free off-the-shelf acrylic frame which is adequate. However, I would recommend chooisng the hand made frames as these are professionally made wooden frames and are superior in quality.
SIZE AND FINISH
- A complete framed papercut
- Artwork is A3
- Laser cut from HEAVYWEIGHT 300gsm paper
- Sprayed metallic black with Montana acrylic paint
- Strategically glued spacers make the papercut 'float' 5mm above the red palnet
- Comes with a free 44cm x 32cm x 3.5cm white box frame
- Ready to hang
