Description & Technique

12 Monkeys 4 page papercut featuring the image of a pig's head above the door of Iacono's abandoned butchers shop. This is the headquarters of The Army of the 12 Monkeys. This image is one of the photos the scientists show James Cole as he searches for the source of the virus.

Hand cut.

I have cut letters from the page to create one of the film's most memorable lines: "Who cares what psychiatrists write on walls?"

The ears and snout of the pig are shaped are stand proud of the black background.

Book pages have been hand stitched to the giclee printed black background. This technique allows the artwork to hang free, giving life and depth, and allows you to see the paper cut in all its fine detail.
