I have hand cut each letter from the page, leaving behind only punctuation marks. This mirrors themes of the novel: censorship and rewriting the past. Each letter cut from the page can been seen gathered beneath. I stuck each letter individually. You can see words such as "Faces", "Hands", "Distance", "Covered", "Voice" - at the top of the pile; all designed to reflect the year 2020 in our world.

This beautiful and unique 1984 artwork is 30cm x 40cm in size, and comes fixed with the pictured champagne coloured mount. The background is high quality charcoal black mount board.
