Pride and Prejudice "Derbyshire Pride" Blue Grunge Fine Art Print
Pride and Prejudice "Derbyshire Pride" Blue Grunge Fine Art Print
This distinctive fine art features the last page of Jane Austen's 1813 classic Pride & Prejudice. I have dissected this page to reveal the outline of the UK county of Derbyshire - a theme running through Pride & Prejudice and mentioned in the last line of the book. I have also cut out letters from this page and used them in the order they were found on the page to create the opening line of the novel:
"It is a truth universally acknowledged that a man in possession of a good fortune must be in need of a wife."
