2001// "Monolith" Black on Black 3D Framed Papercut

2001 A Space Odyssey original artwork inspired by Arthur C Clarke's novel and Stanley Kubrick's film adaptation.  

I have cut the image of the Jovian Monolith into which David Bowman enters. The papercut floats 5mm above the black background to provide a multi-dimensional artwork with life and depth. The work is a metallic black on a darker black background.

Cut from 150gsm paper
Sprayed metallic black with Montana Gold acrylic spray paint
The papercut floats 5mm above the black background
Comes framed in a free 315mm x 315mm 60mm box frame
